DeWayne uses his music not only to minister but to set a standard for his generation. "I want others to know that your dreams can become a reality. You have to stay faithful, focused, hear, and follow the path that God has laid out for you. It may not be instantaneous, but it always happens at the right time," said DeWayne in an interview on ABC.
DeWayne's ministry in music has granted him some fantastic opportunities to share his voice and ministry with a variety of audiences, including being asked to sing at the wedding nuptials of Tennis legend Serena Williams and now-husband Alexis Ohanian in 2017.
